For a couple wanting to be smack-bang on the beach, it doesn’t get much better than staying at this condo at Estero Beach & Tennis Club. No car or long hike needed. It’s a 150 foot walk from the building till you touch sand. This particular unit that we’re going to talk about has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and it sleeps up to 2 people. It’s high up on the 7th floor, but don’t worry, it’s accessible by elevator. And since you’re 7 floors up, that means you’re going to see some spectacular views of the ocean. Let’s briefly talk about the inside of this condo. There’s tile flooring throughout the condo, and the layout is open plan, so everything flows well with one another. The first thing you’ll see when you walk through the front door is the small, L-shaped kitchen. The kitchen may not be the grand kitchen you have back at home, but it’s just as functional. It comes fully equipped with all the necessary utensils and equipment that would be needed to cook a great meal. The cabinets and countertops are white, the appliances are stainless steel, and there’s a small breakfast nook almost right in the center of the kitchen. The breakfast nook is the dining area in this condo, and it has a small, intimate table for 2 to enjoy together. Walk past the breakfast nook/dining area, and you’ll enter the living room. It’s a good size, receives lots of natural light, and has a floral couch, floral armchair, flat screen TV for everyone’s entertainment, and access to the outdoor screened-in balcony/patio via the glass patio door along the wall. It’s here in the patio/balcony that both of you can sit down together with a nice beverage and simply enjoy listening to the waves crashing. The master bedroom is a good size, and it has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom.


Community Description

Estero Beach & Tennis Club is located on the southern end of Estero Island. Amenities include free wifi, a pool, tennis courts, a picnic and barbeque area, a community room, bike storage, shuffleboard, and on-site laundry facilities. If you want to dine out, there are many great places right across the street at Santini Plaza, which also includes a boutique, gift shops, clothing stores, post office, ice cream shop, marina with boat rentals, and more. There is also a CVS that can meet just about all of your vacation needs. The island trolley will pick you up right across the street at Santini Plaza for just 50 cents and provides transportation to nearby Lover's Key State Park and throughout the island. Fort Myers Beach is centrally located, only a short distance to Naples and Marco Island to the south and Sanibel and Captiva to the north.
